Patrick McNallyI had a rare stroke, a cerebellum stroke. It looks and feels like the flu. The symptoms you talk about work for the main type of stroke, but mine hit in the cerebellum, the little kidney like part of the brain below the main part. It affects inertia, balance, and motor skills. So, I had no headaches, no face droop, no arm or leg issues. My symptoms? Extreme nausea and dizziness. They gave me two IV at the urgent care and a nausea shot, which got be back up and walking around. The absence of a temperature was what caused them to do a CT scan, which found the spot that needed more intensive MRI, which detected the stroke.

"Liked" Stroke Friends just now...
I'm 5 years post stroke.
Stroke in my experience is a very vicious overwhelming foe.
A stroke is not racist and has no prejudice.
Strokes show no age discretion, nor predictability,
but are devastating and life changing.
My post stroke world is very different than before.

Hi Everyone,
Health is very important to me and I believe health incorporates physical, emotional and psychological well-being, allowing us to achieve the best possible lifestyle and quality of life that we can.
I am a specialist neurological physiotherapist and have worked with people with all kinds of illnesses and conditions for many years.
I also love business and I have combined the two to set up a company, Fast Track To Health Ltd, that is dedicated to helping people who have suffered illness, accident or surgery to source a vast array of services. These are medical therapies, alternative therapies, counselling and psychological support, care and domestic help with things like cleaning, gardening, cooking, laundry and pet care. We also source building adaptations for disabled needs and help with getting back to work or studying.
The idea is to provide a holistic approach to recovery, considering all aspects of living.
For more details, please visit our website
or let me know if you know anyone who might benefit from our help.
